The chocolate equivalent of vanilla ice cream.
Happy August Subscribers!
As we approach the end of the summer season, we decided to bring a surprising chocolate to our lineup...Vanilla White Chocolate!
Is it really chocolate? Yes! Cocoa beans are used to make white chocolate, although in a different way than dark chocolate. Once the beans are fermented, dried, and roasted, the cocoa nibs are ground into a liquid and pressed to expel the natural cocoa butter that's inside. We use this cocoa butter to make our white chocolate. Add a little organic milk powder, sugar, and single origin vanilla pods from our partners in Semuliki Forest, Uganda, and you get our delicious Vanilla White Chocolate Bar. Two chocolate subscribers are getting this bar, and will be enjoying it next to our Sea Salt Bar.
Coffee subscribers are getting a special light/medium roast from a new region of Ethiopia. Duromina is a cooperative focused on quality and community. They are currently working on building schools, roads, connections for electricity and safe drinking water, while their coffee shines through the cup with notes of citrus, stone fruit, and black tea. Two coffee subscribers will enjoy this next to our Signature House Blend.
Hope you enjoy!
