Mike Woitach
Mike Woitach is an entrepreneur, advisor, and coffee fanatic specializing in retail sales strategy for food and beverage products. His first company, Convergent Coffee, was one of the first to produce nitro cold brew coffee commercially. Since then, he has consulted for over a dozen early-stage businesses and helped launch three other product lines.
Theresa Oswald, M.D.
Theresa Oswald, M.D., the founder and president of Knowledge as Medicine, has practiced holistic medicine for over 25 years. Dr. Oswald is Board Certified with the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Integrative Medicine.
Coral Lee
Coral Lee is a writer, recipe developer, food stylist, and podcaster based in New York City. Her Heritage Radio Network show, “Meant to be Eaten”, looks at the intersection of food and culture. Her work can be found in Bon Appétit, Food52, Modern Farmer, WNYC, Milky Magazine, and South China Morning Post.
Fatima-Zohra Hakam
A lifelong chocolate lover, Fatima-Zohra Hakam is from Rabat, Morocco and holds a deep interest in the current state of cacao production and sourcing in Africa. She is the Marketing Manager leading The Fine Cacao and Chocolate Institute’s marketing, social media content and marketing campaign.
Linus Trippe
Linus Trippe is a Senior Consultant in Lean Manufacturing and Factory Physics. He has been studying, learning, and coaching for over 15 years, helping small-medium sized business obtain continuous improvement in process efficiency, factory floor management, and value stream analysis.
William Boos
William Boos is an Associate Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, where he teaches in the Dept of Earth and Planetary Science and leads research on tropical climate. He works to improve understanding of the mechanisms controlling tropical rainfall, with a particular focus on monsoons, cyclones, and extreme weather events.
Paayal Desai
Paayal Desai is a Director at American Express in Prospect Acquisition Digital Marketing where she manages a $7B+ business, developing digital marketing strategies across all Consumer card products. Paayal started her career in finance at Merrill Lynch and has also worked in marketing at Unilever and Proctor and Gamble.
John Daskovsky
Chief Information Officer for Yoga International, an INC 500 company and former Director of the Himalayan Institute Buffalo, John has completed his 500-Hour Teaching Certification and teaches classes on yoga and meditation. He lives at the Himalayan Institute with his wife and two young children.
George Kankong
George founded Riba Agroforestry Resource Centre in Cameroon as a leading community-based organization working in Cameroon. George has spent decades on tropical agricultural and sustainable tree-based farming to rehabilitate watersheds and degraded land while generating income for the local communities.
Ambrose Crenshaw
Ambrose Crenshaw is the Director of Digital Strategy at a B2B media company where he leads digital transformation and product development initiatives integrating business analytics, marketing technology and content. Ambrose lives in Philadelphia where he also leads hiking and meditation events in the Fairmount Park system with his wife.
Linda Domino
Linda Domino is a certified yoga instructor and Founder of Sacred Trails, a platform designed to curate gatherings, events, and conscious travel experiences that inspire inner growth and awakening! Linda embraces immersive cultural experiences as a way to see ourselves and others with renewed clarity, love and compassion.
Matti Foncha
Matti grew up in the coffee region of Cameroon. Following a 15-year career in the petroleum industry, Matti has dedicated his time to working with, and assisting coffee farmers to self-organize into micro cooperative groups. These groups benefit from the collaborative direct trade which Matti developed, and which is an important attribute of the More Than Fair™ certification process he initiated with industry peers. Matti practices small-holder farming and is CEO of African Coffee Trading Group in Atlanta. Matti is a graduate of the University of Oxford in the UK.
Nicole Taylor
Nicole Taylor is the Manager of Communications at a healthcare non-profit in Philadelphia. She is the author of A Joyful Pause and founder of Evolve Philadelphia where she facilitates transformative offerings on self-care using a blend of meditation, yoga, mind/body awareness, and Ayurvedic principles. Nicole is also a 500-hour certified yoga teacher; a graduate of the Hendricks Institute's Big Leap Coach program; and a graduate of the Himalayan Institute's Ayurvedic Health Counselor program.
Giving back to farmers and the planet.
As a social enterprise, we are out to craft amazing products as well as make a positive impact for small holder farmers. We do this by ethically sourcing coffee and cacao, offering training programs on our Cameroon farm, and planting a tree for every product sold.
