Adventure Overview

Join our team as we journey to connect with our cacao farming partners, immerse ourselves in rich Latin American culture, and explore the natural wonders that make this country world-famous. The lush jungles of Costa Rica are tranquil, vibrant, and alive with extraordinary wildlife. You’ll experience the impact of ethically traded cacao firsthand—right down to crafting your own chocolate on a working cacao farm.

From there, adventure awaits in the cloud forests of Monteverde, where we’ll zip-line through the canopy and walk across breathtaking hanging bridges, surrounded by some of the most diverse wildlife on Earth.

We’ll close our journey with time to unwind on Costa Rica’s pristine Pacific coast—one of only five Blue Zones in the world. Together we’ll snorkel and kayak to a remote island, reflect on our travels, and soak in the pura vida lifestyle.

Direct-Trade Partners

Origin Adventures started as a way to take you to meet the farmers who grow the cacao and coffee beans we use in our products. These trips are the ultimate way to experience a transparent, direct-trade supply chain - from farmer and raw bean, all the way to finished product. At the heart of every Origin Adventure are our farming partners - they’re the reason we do what we do. In Costa Rica we are proud to have Finfa La Amistad as our cocoa partner. Amistad buys fresh cocoa from more than 100 small cocoa producers and takes it upon themselves to ferment, dry, and ensure that all of the cocoa we buy is exceptional.
