Adventure Overview

The lush jungles of Costa Rica are tranquil, untouched and inhabited with extraordinary wildlife. Join our team and experienced yoga teacher Heidi Audet, as we co-lead this unique journey to source cacao and coffee from our farming partners and explore the beauty and natural wonder that Costa Rica is famous for. Heidi will guide us through daily yoga classes and meditation sessions, designed to enhance our connection with nature and promote inner peace.

The values of yoga, such as mindfulness, respect for all beings, and living in harmony with nature, perfectly align with the ethics behind our sustainable coffee and cacao sourcing. Moka Origins believes in supporting local communities, protecting the environment, and creating a positive impact on the planet.

Experience firsthand the importance of ethically traded cacao–we'll even make our own chocolate right on a cacao farm! Known for its diverse array of unique wildlife, we'll see some incredible animals as we spend time in the cloud forests of Monteverde, where we'll zip-line and hike on majestic hanging bridges. Immerse yourself in the serenity of Costa Rica, deepen your yoga practice, and create unforgettable memories on this adventure that nourishes both body and soul.

Direct-Trade Partners

Our Moka Origins Adventure trips began as a way to connect people with the farmers who grow the cacao and coffee beans we use in our products. Our goal is to make our supply chain radically transparent, from the farmer and raw bean all the way to the finished product. At the heart of every Origin Adventure are our farming partners – they're the reason we do what we do.

In Costa Rica, we are proud to partner with Finca La Amistad for our cocoa. Amistad buys fresh cocoa from over 100 small cocoa producers and takes it upon themselves to ferment, dry, and ensure that all of the cocoa we buy is exceptional. We can't wait for you to experience ethical trade in action.
