MokaBox November 2021

Happy November Subscribers!
November is here with reminders about giving thanks and spending time with family. At Moka, we couldn’t be more thankful to you, for the ongoing support of MokaBox and our mission to plant trees and improve the coffee and chocolate supply chain.
This month we are bringing back a crowd favorite chocolate bar—Coffee Toffee. Our chocolatier Beth spoils us by making small batches of toffee and tops our espresso-infused Uganda dark chocolate.
Our second bar is our Tanzania 72% dark chocolate. These cacao beans are sourced by 3,400 farmers and carry an extraordinary flavor of red fruit due to the high quality fermentation and terroir.
For our coffee subscribers, we meticulously roasted a limited batch coffee from Kenya. These beans come from Chwele Farmer co-op in Kenya, located around the foothills of Mt. Elgon. The farmers here are primarily members of the Bukusu tribe. Rich volcanic soils are fed with annual rains, producing exceptional beans. This roast brings notes of brown sugar and citrus.
The second coffee we've included for subscribers is our signature House Blend medium roast.
Happy tasting,
Jeff
