Last month was Fair Trade month, celebrating the core values of fairness, accountability, transparency, and environmental sustainability on farms all across the globe. We founded Moka Origins with these values, and are proud to also be a Fair Trade USA Certified facility. Beyond Fair Trade, every product we sell plants a tree on our farm in Cameroon, and proceeds from sales are invested back to our farm to adequately pay farmers, teach neighboring farms how to sustainability grow crops, and invest in farmer education and environmental regeneration.
That is why this month we are celebrating with some of our favorites, and are including a limited batch Coffee Toffee Chocolate that uses Fair Trade Organic cocoa beans from ABOCFA Coop in Ghana, West Arica. The buttery sweetness from the toffee perfectly complements the creamy espresso which is stone ground right into our chocolate.
