The first day of Spring is right around the corner and we are celebrating with a variety of beans from all across Africa, including a limited batch chocolate inspired by fresh flowers and refreshing citrus flavors.
Introducing our Lemon Lavender Dark Chocolate. Real lavender flowers are steeped in cocoa butter and stone ground into Uganda cocoa, creating a delicately balanced floral flare to this Fair Trade Organic chocolate. To compliment the fruity overtones of the cacao, we also added pure lemon - the perfect bar for springtime. Our 2 Bar subscribers will enjoy this next to our bright and bold Tanzania 72% Dark Chocolate.
To compliment the springtime flavors, our coffee subscribers are getting our flagship coffee from Cameroon. Grown in the foothills of the Mt. Oku region, this bold medium roast brings soft lemon notes with a sweet caramel finish. Our two coffee subscribers will enjoy our light roasted Ethiopia coffee from Biftu Gudina Cooperative. Meticulous processing leads to a floral, bright, honeyed cup that shines as an example of world-class coffee. You'll find vibrant notes of Hibiscus, lemon poppyseed cake, and orange pekoe black tea.
