This month we've packed your box with flair and flavor from India.
India holds a special place in my heart as my birthplace and spiritual home.
June is an amazing time in India, bringing intense summer heat and the
chance to enjoy the first tree-ripened mangoes of the season.
India is world-renowned for its culinary rituals, unique not only
to different regions but even to specific communities. For instance, each
mango lassi maker takes great pride in their unique expression of this
classic summer drink, defined by the signature taste, tartness and texture
they create from home-made yogurt and locally sourced mangos.
That's why this month we are celebrating mango season with our first ever
Mango Lassi White Chocolate. We used real mango and yogurt for a deliciously
sweet and tart treat. Enjoy this India-inspired bar alongside
our Blueberry Chocolate, made from Uganda cacao and topped with real
blueberries bursting with flavor.
For our coffee subscribers, we've roasted a small batch of single origin
Indian beans to put in your coffee boxes. These beans are from the Araku
Valley of the Eastern Ghat mountains of Southeastern India, and have deep
flavors of dried fruit and nuts, leaving you with a heavy, syrupy body and a taste of India.
