Rich & Fudgy Moka Brownies

Brownies are the dessert that never disappoints. Rich, chocolatey, and perfectly satisfying, they strike the ideal balance between indulgent and comforting. This recipe makes incredibly gooey brownies using our ethically made Chocolate Chips, Cocoa Powder, and Pure Vanilla Extract.

Ingredients

½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter, cut into chunks

⅔ cup (150 g) packed dark brown sugar

⅔ cup (134 g) sugar

1 tsp MOKA Pure Vanilla Extract

⅔ cup (32 g) MOKA Cocoa Powder

½ tsp baking powder

Generous ½ tsp fine sea salt

2 large eggs, fridge-cold

⅔ cup (85 g) unbleached all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled

1 cup (170 g) MOKA Chocolate Chips

Instructions

Heat oven to 350F.

Grease an 8-inch square baking pan and line with parchment paper. Set aside.

In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar, and regular sugar. Microwave for 1 minute, or until the butter is melted. Remove from the microwave and whisk until smooth.

Add the vanilla, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt to the bowl. Whisk until smooth. Add in the eggs, one at a time, whisking just until combined. Fold in the flour until just a few streaks remain, then add in the chocolate chips and stir to combine.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth into an even layer. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the edges are set.

Allow to cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes before serving.

Enjoy!
