Karan is a recent college graduate with majors in Philosophy and Management, with an extensive culinary background. After reflecting on the various systems in place that work to create the culinary experiences we see every day, he found himself unsettled by the living conditions of those who grow the food we eat. Therefore, Karan decided to focus his time researching food and asking questions. From food waste projects to food industry analysis, he saw the potential for creating sustainability through proper food sourcing, and yet he again found himself wanting to work directly with food. Today, Karan is excited to combine his various backgrounds and is working with find quality ingredients and creating premium products at Moka Origins, all while raising consciousness about our food consumption and empowering the farmers who supply us all.
